Deja Vu catches your eye before you’ve even stepped through the door, with animated lights outside setting up a room that feels noticeably modern once you’re in.

A long raised stage runs through the centre, keeping the dancers in view from almost anywhere, while the transparent ceiling adds another layer overhead and gives the room a slightly theatrical feel. Lighting and production do a lot of the work here, making Deja Vu feel sharper and more contemporary than its name might suggest.

Sitting toward the Asok end of Soi Cowboy, it’s an easy bar to encounter early in a walk down the street - although the room itself has enough visual pull to make it feel like more than just a first stop.
