Tilac has been part of the Soi Cowboy landscape for long enough that the blue neon almost feels built into the street.

Inside, it’s one of Cowboy’s larger rooms, with a main central stage and smaller stages scattered around it, keeping dancers in view whichever direction you end up facing. The broad, open layout gives the room a constant sense of movement, while the outdoor seating offers a completely different experience if you’d rather grab a drink and watch the traffic of Soi Cowboy roll past.

There’s a little Hollywood history here too: part of The Hangover Part II’s go-go bar sequence was filmed inside Tilac, adding another chapter to a venue that was already well established long before the cameras arrived.

Tilac has seen plenty of nights come and go on Cowboy. Somehow, it still feels right in the middle of them.
